Off the Radar?

Ok here's a stab at a cheap web option for our region. Tim Sudworth and I spoke a while ago about getting a site together for the region that would be a space for resources, training and news from across our region. To be honest we were challenged by the Children's Work Adviser Networks excellent site... it left us thinking that there is no web presence for DYO's that the public can access. Ok, there is the list of dioceses and officers on the national church pages - but that's only a list. Also, there are some excellent work related blogs exist out in "internet-land" but nothing that puts us together as a group.

So here it is... the DYO-SE web presence. Blogger may not seem the best tool, but it can be used creatively if labels are used on posts. To see an example of this please check this site.

The aim of this site is not to blog the latest gripes and groans about issues dear to our hearts but a space where people can see the best of our network. It's a space for resources that parishes might find handy - events, national initiatives (Hope 2008!!!) and even youth ministry jobs.

If this bombs... it's not a problem... this only took 15 minutes to make!
